Finally an update

Hi 'All,
Sorry about the long pause since my last post, but I ahve been busy doing the church thing. Seems there are never enough hours in the day to do visitation, prepare for Sunday and special services, update my blog and answer everyone on Facebook. So, my blog and facebook will have to wait untill I have time.

But i will continue to post my sermon and at lest check for responses.

Church services have been goos as of late. There has been some memorial and meaningful services and momnts within services. God continues to be at work as th devil is also at work - god will protect us and guide us.

Pray for one another and seek God whereever you are.

Blessings and remember, God loves you all.

First Time Ever

Hi Folks, well yesterday was my very first time ever playing golf. I was invited or got myself invited to the Mink Rangers Golf Tornament. I was on the team ith Corey and 2 other ranchers - from out west. My first attempt at hitting the ball was witnessed by a few hundred people including a fe from our church(Larry, Glen); which I sliced and went verring right, at a high rate of speed, where a couple of people had to duck. Great first shot.

But as the day went on and some instruction by the 3 people who were with me, I made some really nice shot. I putted in a fe quite long shots, chipped a few onto the green and some were way down the fairway and very straight. But alas, all my really good shots ere witnessed by but a few.

The golfing was great, good exercise combing the woods looking for balls and walking.

Thank you Mullens for inviting me.

Honk

ell a group of us NTBC people went to Bear River - East to put on the drive-in service. What a wonderful experience! That was the first time I have taken part in an outdoor service. There was a huge crowd - maybe 20 cars. The deacons from the church said it was the biggest crowd this summer. God was certainly at work to bring such a big crowd.

Most our our choir came and sang - thanks so much you guys and gals to travel 3/4 of am hour to sing; thank you for giving to the Lord. Linda brought her keyboard and played the music for us; thank you Linda, for giving to the Lord. Christy sang 2 inspiring songs. Christy and Corey (and Craig and April) stopped off on their way home from upper clements park to partake of the service. Thank you, Christy for giving to the Lord. Tanya also sang 2 moving/emotional songs. Thank you Tanya for giving to the Lord.

The sevice was nice but it a hard to get used to the honking. Every time the congregation wanted to sho their appoval andappreciation they honked the horns on their cars. Also, it was hard to hear yourself, in the peakers, talk or sing - there were no speakers turn towards those on stage.

Even though the place as strange to us and something we're not used to, the Lord granted us ith such a great service and the Holy Spirit was among us.

Thanks again to all who made that service possible.

Please go check out my message (The Man Behind The Man In The Mirror) on the "Pulpit" link.

Blessings upon you all.

Epic Ride

This week was so special to me, as I went on a epic bike drive - to draw myself closer to God great wonder and creation. I wanted to take my bike and travel. Finally I decided on going to Cape Breton - going around the Cabot Trail.

Day 1, I got up and was on the road shortly after 7am; yes I was up at 7am. My first stop was for gas and my second spot was Tim’s in Bridgetown. Then off I was on my Epic Motorbike drive. Drove through to the valley (on the 101) and turn off at Windsor (Tim’s) and then up through the Rawdon Hills.

For any bike driver, this is the kind of road you like; the twisty turns and the country scenery. I really enjoyed the first part of my drive. Came out around Truro, fueled up and turned right towards Cape Breton. Drove along that part of the 101 passing New Glasgow and then hit construction. Had a 25-minute rest, until traffic started moving again. Drove into Antigonish, stopping for lunch (1:30) at Mother Webb’s. Good food, but a bit pricey.

Got back on the bike and headed for the Canso Causeway. Stopped there, went to the washroom, checked out the map and headed off up the 105 highway. Drove through Port Hastings and Queensland. I wasn’t sure if Cape Breton was ‘same-sex’ friendly or not or if Queensland was the just the name of the place or description??? I didn’t slow down at all.

Then I drove through Kingsville; what was that all about? As I drove through Glendale and Medford, the skies started to get dark. I took time to put on my wet-suit. By the time I got to Blues Mills, it was raining. By the time I got to Iron Mines, it was really raining. As I entered Whycocomagh, I started to look for a place to get out of the rain. I spotted a run-down shack on the side of the road; so I turned in and spent the next hour or so, watch the rain.

The rain was really nice, silver and transparent at times. At some point the rain came straight down (and fast) and at other times, it was came down almost horizontal. The rain drops were very big and stung when hitting your face at 100 km. Some people drove really slow and others were passing those cars. I prayed for the rain to stop and that everyone would drive safely.

Well the rain let-up a bit, so off I went; drove into Whycocomagh Reserve, stopped at a gas station that had a canopy. There I met up with a couple from Ontario on their bike. They too were seeking shelter. With the help of the woman at the gas station, we found a small motel with 3 vacant rooms – off we went to get dried out. Stayed the night at the Mountain Brook Motel, which took $55.00 of my gas money – since I had planned to sleep in my tent every night.

Oh well, at least I got to dry out, have a hot shower and watch the America’s Got Talent. This too was a blessing from God. It made it possible for me to watch that TV show and get a good night’s sleep. The motel only got 2 TV stations and a third which was French.

Day 2
Got up the next morning and was on the road (again) shortly after 7. I said good-bye to the couple from Ontario; they too were headed around the Cabot Trail. I ask which way they were going; around the inside or around the outside. They looked at me dumb-founded; as some of you too are thinking – inside /outside.

Well, here’s the explanation. If you drive way up to and turn onto the trail at St. Anns, and then back down around the trail – coming out at Baddeck – you are on the left side of the road (looking at the map), and on the outside, closest to the cliffs and water the whole way ‘round. That’s the outside. If you turn left and enter the trail at Baddeck, travel inland to Cheticamp and then around the trail, you are on the right side of the road (looking at the map), and are on the inside trail, closest the bank and far from the edge of the cliffs and open water.

After I explained all this to the couple from Ontario, they decide to travel the outside; I told then I was traveling the inside since I was scared of heights and water. As I was leaving, I suggested, that since they were turning at St. Anns that they should check out Englishtown Ferry.

Englishtown is about 5 miles up the road from where you would normally turn into the trail. Englishtown has a wonderful and very long ‘sandbar’ that crosses St. Anns Bay. The ferry cuts off about 50 kms of winding road. The ferry is a cable ferry, which means the 2 points (departure and arrival) are connected by a cable that is ‘fed’ through the ferry. Warning! I wonder what would happen of the cable brook? Would the ferry simply flood away? Never mind.

The couple from Ontario said they might check it out. I wished them well and a safe trip and off I went. Turned into the trail at the Bid Red Barn and headed to Cheticamp. Lake O’law is nestled between to very high mountains that come down right next to the lakeshore. The water is clear and still and a wonderful place to stop and take in God’s wonder.

I pulled into the provincial park and rested a while. Had a banana and a bottle of water. After I was finished I went over to the trash/recycling can to put in my contribution. I opened the lid (matter-of-factly), when a squirrel stuck out his head and scare the ‘daylights’ out of me. As far as I know, my banana peel and a water bottle are still on the ground; or the squirrel has them.

Drove through Margaree Forks and into Margaree Harbour. I then traveled along the Gulf of St. Lawrence, up towards the town of Cheticamp. Stopped at Tim’s and gassed up before entering Cape Breton Highlands National Park – heading for Pleasant Bay.

Pillar Rock is quite a sight, as the rock-face is a few hundred feet high right along side of the road. Started up Jerome Mountain; what a view as the road wines in around on it’s self many times and you can see the road up head and back behind you. Came into Pleasant Bay, nice village; and stopped at the Lone Shieling which is a replica of a Scottish shepherd’s hut. The hut was built to commemorate the Scot who donated some 100 acres of virgin forest to the park.

From Pleasant Bay, I headed inland and upland, into the heart of the Park; stopping about 1 or so to have lunch at Big Intervale, cape North. Also took the time to find Beulach Ban Waterfalls. A beautiful falls about 100 feel high. You can feel the midst at the base; knowing this high and deep channel was cut away by a residing glacier – millions of years ago. Many natives and European explorers have stood right where I was standing and marveling at this small spec of God’s great power and wonder.

From the falls, I drove past Black Brook beach and other great coastal stopping places. Continued on; South Harbour, Neil’s Harbour to Ingonish – ending up at the top of cape Smokey. I took of picture of me and my bike, at the top of Old Smokey, at the elevation sign; “Top of Smokey – Elevation 275m, 902 feet” above sea level. Quite an accomplishment for me and my bike.

From there it was all down hill. I drove along that coast enjoying many beaches and rock walkabouts. Came into the St. Ann’s area and decided to take my own advice and go on the Englishtown Ferry. I was driving along, wondering what happen to my friends from Ontario. I felt I should have meet them in and round Cape North – that’s about halfway. Well, I was about 5 kms from the ferry, when I (finally) meet the couple. They had indeed come across the ferry, but where they were all day, I have no idea.

The drive along that coast/sandbar is always so nice and the little ferry is so enjoyable. It took 5 minutes to load all the cars, trucks and campers on, and 2 minutes to get to the other side. From there I proceeded up Kelly’s Mountain towards the Seal Island Bridge. HAVE I EVER MENTIONED, I HATE BRIDGES AND WATER! Well the drive across the bridge on my bike was absolutely frightening.

I drove from there to Sydney River and got on the #4 highway. This road takes you right along side of East Bay, Bras D’Or Lake and west Bay. You drive through many quaint places, including Big Pond; where Rita McNeil is from. I drove right past Rita’s Tearoom but didn’t see her anywhere so just keep going. From Rita’s place, I drove through St.Peters, and into Port Hawkesbury. The Canso Causeway is only a hop, skip and a jump from there.

I stopped at the Causeway, freshen-up, called my sister Amy to get my sister’s Donna Jean’s phone number. I did take time to get on the public internet site, email my daughter, Tanya and did a quick update on my blog. I left the Causeway heading towards Truro and then my sister’s Donna’s for the night.

Long before I reached Antigonish, it started to rain again. I stooped in Antigonish, gassed up, changed into my chaps and leathers. I called Donna to say I was on my way there. Got back on the highway and drove some more, headed towards New Glasgow. As I coming into the town, another bike came on the highway and past me. We both waved. As I came into the town I notice a Tim’s. I though what better place to wait out the rain, then at a Tim’s?

As I pulled into the parking lot, which was filled, I saw only one parking spot, which just happen to be beside the biker who just pasted me. We said high chatted for a few seconds and then he offered to buy me a cup of tea. Now right away I knew I’d like this guy because he offered to buy me, not a cup of coffee, but a cup of tea. We got our drinks and he wanted to go outside to have a smoke. We sat inside the smoking building, watched the rain, drank our tea, and then he told me about his marriage break-up, his wife and (grown) kids. So for the next few hours, as we waited for the rain to stop, I listen to his story and we talked about everything under the sun.

When the rain let up, I thanked ‘Sandy’ for the tea and prayed for him, his wife and children. I told him that he was a good man and I had enjoyed our time together.

When I decided to take a week off, I felt I really need some away time. I wanted to travel, on my bike, and to have an adventure. I wanted the trip, something I could remember and help me get some rest, relaxation and to energize me. But sometimes God intervenes on our plans, and He put me in the right place at the right time, so I could have a conversation with ‘Sandy.’ All the rain and all the driving was just God’s plan becoming a reality. I now know that this trip was nit really about what I wanted or needed; it was about a meeting with ‘Sandy’ and what he needed. Thank you Lord for using me in such a way.

Once I said my farewell to ‘Sandy,’ I headed to Truro; stopped there and called my sister, Donna. I wasn’t sure where her new house was or how to get to Shearwater Base. I told her I was going to find a motel in Truro and then go to her place in the morning. Well the cheapest motel I could find was $59.95, plus tax, and I needed a credit card to get one. So, since I didn’t know how to get to Donna’s place from where I was (and it was 2am by this time), and since I knew how to get home and I was wide awake, I decided to drive straight home.

The last leg of my trip was from Truro to Weymouth, in the moonless, dark, still night. There was only a few cars and trucks on the highway. I drove as far as Tatamagouche Tim’s and then to Windsor Tim’s to the Irving Big Stop in New Minas to gas up. Then, from New Minas home in no time, to my waiting and wonderful wife. It was a great drive at 4 am – I enjoyed it a lot.

Overall, just a great roadtrip. God watched over me and protected me the entire trip. My mileage at the start of my trip was 9362 km; end mileage was 10, 991. I travel 1629 kms; 550 on day 1, and almost 1200 on day 2.

Thank you, Peggy for allowing me to go on this epic bike drive and thank you, Lord, for keeping me safe. Our lives, in general, are all the same. We worry and wonder, but in the end, God always delivers and is always behind us, beside us, and goes ahead of us. Our God is an awesome God.

Blessings

checkin in

Hi Kids,
Are you all playing nice? Good.
Well I at the Canso Couseway public internet site with a check in. Yesterday I left early morning 7 am I think for my epic bike drive. I had a wonderful morning and most of the afternoon riding in the sun with the wind blowing through my hair; until about 3:00 when it started to rain - real hard - really really really hard. I pull off the road, cause I couldn't see and took refuge in this abandon shack until the rain let up alittle so I could drive to find a motel.

Spent the night drying out and this morning I drove around the Cabot Trail all by myself well not reall there were 3 of us; me, God and Satan. Everytime soemthing went right I thanked God - if something went wrong I blamed it on Satan. It's hard to drive while those two are arguing. Well not really arguing. Satan gets mad and yells at God , because God keeps blessing me on my drive.

Welll got to go find some place to pitch my tent, and I left God sitting on the bike so Satan doesn't take off with it.

Talk with you all soon.

God bless you

VACATION!!!!

Hi Y'all,
The service yesterday was pretty good; a few more visitors. The 2 guys who visited last week came back and brought another guy with them. I do hope they find what they are looking for - they are welcome anytime at NTBC.

The sermon was quite deep, and we looked at some tough questions. The passage was from Matthew 15:21-28. A Gentile woman comes to Jesus and ask Him to cure her daughter from demon pocession. Jesus says; "“I was sent, only, to the lost sheep of Israel.” Wasd Jesus really rejecting her??? Go read the sermon at the link "From the pulpit."

I am now on vacation this week so no service on August 19 in the morning; but we, as a church, have been asked to come to Bear River East to lead their outside/drive in service in the evening at 7pm. All are welcome. Our choir will lead in song, with a few special solists and I will bring the message. Come out and check it out.

Well, I'm packing my motorbike today and will take off after supper or first thing Turesday morning on a bike trip to Cape Brenton. I'm either going around the Cabot Trail or up to Sydney. Up one side of Bras d'Or Lakes and then down the other side; maybe stopping at Rite;s Tea House.

I will try and post as I go. I will be back Friday night so Peggy and I can go to Convention in Wolfville.

Play nice, God bless you and please pray for my trip, traveling mercies and protections.

Thanks all.

Adventure

Hi Gang,
Well Tuesday night myself, Corey and Craig M., and Stanley B. went on an advanture. The 4 of us took Satnley's rubber dingy, and went out to Bear Island -near Smith's Cove. I wanted to check out the Island to dtermine if we could take a punch or our youth out there on an extreme camping trip, over night, survivor kinda thing. So we had to go check it out first.

Stanley offer to use his dingy (small rubber boat) which was powered by an electric motor and a battery. Well sounds good so far. Stanley brough an extra bettery - just in case. Good thing; the first battery died about 3/4 way over and we had to paddle the rest of the way to the Island.

Once we got there the place was inhabited with 1000's of seagulls and very ugly black 'looking' ducks. Waste materianl was everywhere and fly and dropping everywhere. There 100's of dead or dieing birds. The shore line was good, but inland the brush and plant growth made it impossible to safely explore. Corey and I decided quite quickly that this was not a place to bring our (active) youth. It was just to dirty and not a safe place to hang out.

So off we went to explore the coastline and walk all way around the island. As we walked everyong started to pick up shinny rock, rope, bouyies and things. I had s few rock and seashells in my pocket. We walked and walked and finally the very point of the isalnd came into view. It pointed out to sea, out the 'gull,' the passage between Victoria Beach and Digby - that went out to sea. I hurried along as the rest were still beachcombing for things shinny. I went on ahead of them; I want to go to the very point of the isalnd and stick my foot into the waters - just to say I was there.

About 10 feet from the very end of the sand/gravel bar, something caught my eye - stuck in the mud/sand. It was very shinny, it was a glass bottle and itside was a piece of paper. I yelled to the others; "Hey, look, a message in a bottle." Sure enough it was. The top was rusted and hard to twist off and the paper inside was worn and the writing was faded. This was a real0-live meassage in a bottle.

Corey looked at the language and through it was Spanish. There were a few words he could translate; 'beautiful, gift'. Also written on the note were the words Mexico and Brazil. It also looked like it had a few different handwrittings on it.
Quite a find!

Well, Craig was very jealous, and he should be, for I had found the great prize that night - not him. Well we combed around the rest of the island and didn't find too much more out of the ordinary. More rocks, shells, and robe. Stanley gathering some colorful plastic bags and Craig secured a long pole. Once we got back to the near-side of the isalnd they attached their plastic bag utop the pole and planted the pole into the ground - as a marker and a 'sign' that we were there.

Crawled back into the boat and headed back to shore - we got about 2/3 the way before the battery failed enough that we had to paddle again. We left shore about 6:30 or so, and arrived safely back on shore at shorty after 9:00. A great adventure and some real male bonding.

I WILL write a sermon on our adventure. It will surround us going to the isaland in hopes of one thing, but discoverying something totally different. It's a lot like the Israelites entering the Promised Land for the first time. What were they expecting? What was waiting for them? What did they receive that was unexpected.

Well the story continues later.
Blessings all you adventurers.

Wow!

Lots to talk about today.

VeBS was simply amazing! Thank you Christy and April – and all the kids who came. I also want to acknowledge the teachers, leaders and helpers – well done and thank you for giving to the Lord. Our kids are our future; and what a bright future we do have.

Sunday’s worship and Communion service was very special. We had some guests who were treated to the VeBS kids and leaders singing. Everyone did a wonderful job. The songs they sang all added so much to the service. The call to worship song “I Worship You” was very appropriate for Communion and though provoking for us adults. Children telling us we should worship God – Amen.

The other 3 songs all had strong messages for us who really listen to the words. Great job done by the VeBS kids.

Allison Marr’s bulletin cover was so very cool and seemed to be a big hit. I liked the new pastor – Pastor Brain. Brains and hair too – thanks you Allison. The 2 seagulls were very cool as well.

Speaking of seagulls, the puppets that Diana made for her class were totally amazing. They reminded me of Gertrude and Heathcliffe. Trivia question for today. From which TV show were Gertrude and Heathcliffe part of???

On Sunday we had 2 visitors, who came along with Glenda and 2 other gentleman who came seeking something. I pray that with God’s help (and ours) that these men can find what they are looking for.

This coming Sunday, we will be looking at Matthew 15:21-28 and how Jesus cast out a demon from a little girl. Sounds so simple, but what are the hidden meanings behind this Gentile woman asking for help for her daughter. Who did Jesus come to minister to, the Jews or the Gentile OR the Jews and the Gentiles?

Then the week of August 13 to the 19, I will be on vacation – so there will be no Sunday morning service on August 19, but in the evening of August 19, we, as a church, have been invited to go to Bear River East Baptist church and lead the service and bring the message. I will speaking on Hebrews 12:1-3; the title of the sermon – “The Man Behind the Man in the Mirror.”

I am looking for choir members to come to Bear River East and help lead the congregation, in an outdoor/drive-in service (or anyone else who would like to step in on that night).

It has been a very busy summer thus far. We have had the Marriage Enrichment Course, VeBs preparation, the Couple’s Retreat/getaway, and then VeBS itself. God has blessed us with much success, fun, laughter and love.

Thank you, Lord!
Thank you, Lord!
Thank you, Lord!

This Sunday we will have any bulletin created from the kid’s artwork (from a few weeks ago). I wonder whose drawing it will be?

Well blessings upon you and remember; God loves you – very much.

VeBS

Wow, VeBS is awesome and fun. Night number 2 is already gone and tonight # 3. #0 kids and they are all so loud and yelling and running around with smiles on their faces - what's up with that?

Christy and April (and all the other teachers and helpers) are doing a wonderful job for the kids. So, if anyone hasn't come to check out VeBS, it's not too late - come tonight 6:00 - 8:30.

Don't forget about the Sunday School picnic this Sunday afternoon - all are welcome.

Couple's Retreat

Well the retrteat was totally awesome and amazing. Nine couples came and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding in Smith's Cove, at the romantic Harbourview Inn. Darren and Vance treated us wondefully and the Inn was so very nice. The food was amazing as well - especially the breakfasts. I went swiming in the pool, which was the first time in over 5 years I have been in the water.

I want to thank God for sending the couples/people that He did; for the weekend would not have been as enjoyable and special if they hadn't come. The workshops were enlightening and the games were very fun. I especially enjoyed watching Ted and Linda roll a ball back and forth for over 45 minutes (quality time).

But the highlight of the weekend came Sunday morning at 9am, as Brenda and Henry Ford rededicted themselves to one another in a Marriage Vows Renewal Ceremony. Genos gave the bride away. Linda stood as Brenda's maid of honor and Sankey was Henry's best-man. The Ceremony was not a planned event for the weekend; and was brought on by the Holy Spirit. The bride was beautiful, carrying pink roses, and the groom was very handsome, with a pink rose on his lapel.

All the rest of the couples were emotional, as well as a few other Inn patrons. Brenda and Henry had a wonderful second marriage ceremony. God bless them.

The weekend had so many highs and amazing things that happen. Just ask anyone who was there. I want to thanks Peggy for her help organizing the weekend and helping out, while I did other things. Thanks so much Peggy. Also, thanks to Tanya who aided us at getting ready.

Well, just wait until next year!
Blessings and love to you all.

Excited

Hi everyone,
Seems it is getting harder and harder to keep my blog updated as well as interact on facebook.

Tomorrow night we are off to the Couple's Retreat - it's going to be an awesome, fun and God filled weekend. All the couples will have a great time! Please pray for us all to grow closer to God as we grow closer to our spouses and also grow closer to our spouses as we grow closer to one another.

God is really good - sometimes we forget that. I have had a request on "From the Pulpit" to preach on "God's grace and peace when we feel at times like giving up."
I can do that! and I know that a lot of other people have been there as well. I will be preaching this message on August 5, 2007.

Remember that no matter what we are going through, God is never far away and He continues to love us.

Blessing, PBB

Actions

Good rainy morning.
Ya'know, sometimes no matter what we do; it's wrong. If we do it this way, its wrong or of we do it that way, its wrong. Life is like that and I blame Satan for that. He seems to pressure us into action and clouds our vision to what to do and when we do something, it is wrong.

God is our light, our guiding light in this world. But it is hard sometimes to determine if Satan is pushing us to do something or simply, we can see God's way at that certain point.

People, step carefully today.

Blessings upon you all, PBB

PS: Please pray for my sister Amy Rose - she has her surgery today to remove a turmor in her inner ear...

God's Grace

This past weekend, I wnt on my motorcycle course: Friday night 6:00 to 9:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 to 5:30, and Sunday 8:30 to 5:30. We were on the bikes most all that time. Then add 40-50 minutes times 2, per day for me. Result = sore behind.

The course was great, there were 7 of us from all age groups and walks of life. We all passed and one lady even crashed her bike into the raised sidewalk. She broke the bike, bruisd and skun her leg, brett bad.

I think we are granted the grace of God, soooooooooo many times during the day that and seldom even notice. The bike course as fun, but it was very hard as well and I kno that God was watching over al of us.

At the beginning of the course, on Friday night, we all had to introduce ourselves, tell a little about us, and what bike we drive or would like to on. So I introduced myself, told them I owned a Hyosung and as the pastor of NTUBC. During the whole the weekend nothing was said about me being a pastor or any questions. There as some swearing and dirty talk, but nothing too, too bad.

After we all had our final test and were given the results, we were taken outsid for s group photo. as the picture as done, I told a chance and asked if the group if I could pray for them. No one said 'no.' So, I prayed for them as a group, thankd God for the great instructors and for keeping us safe. I then prayed for each individuallt, calling them by name, and asked that God would ridw with them and keep them from harm - always.

Then an amazing thing happen. This group who seemed to be uninterested in my work and continued to swear and talk dirty all weekend, at the end of the prayer - everyone said 'Amen!'

I thought that was so very cool and amazing. Even though e may seem to go through life, uninterested in God or church, God still grants to us His grace - no matter what!. And when it comes right down to it, we know He's there and we acknoledge Him as Lord, by saying 'Amen!'

God loves you all!Blessings PBB

Question is:
In what movie did robin williams say these drag words?
Hellooooooooo

Hellooooooo (Robin Williams in what movie?)

Hi Everyone,
Yes, I know, update, update, update! Well, I've been busy. I think I have an idea of what God goes through on a daily bases. He wants to connect with everyone - see what their doing and how they are - and offer some comfort along the way; and so do I, except I get tired. I wonder if God has Facebook. Everyday, when I go on, I get updates of who's doing what, how they are feeling, messages sent back and forth On The Wall. It's a lot to keep up with. So, sometimes I can't, but I do try and catch up as soon as I can.

The servbices late;y have been really good. This past Sunday, Dianne M. did s wonderful and moving job reading the very same poem that her Mom (Eleanor) read a few years ago. It really added so much to the message and service. I heard many people at the door comment to her about it. Loren did a wonderful singing - but I think she can now sing without the back up voices.

I am away this Sunday so Jonathan will be bringing the message. I am so thankful for Jonathan and In Septemeber Jonathan will be honored by our Church - sdtayed tuned for further updates on that.

Nice to see my daughter for a few day, before she took off again.

Peg and I went to the movies with Christy and Corey on Sunday night - and had a blast. They are really fun to be around - and yes, Corey, I know "your not a machine!" Corey, I hope you enjoyed the pop the other night and Christy, I hope you enjoyed eating at that fancy take-out joint.

Well guys and gals, remember I will try to update more and by the way; God loved you all so very much.

Blessings, PBB

Tired

Hi all,
Well yesterday's service was nice, even though I wasn't completely satisfied with it. The sermon was entitled "Holiday Adventures." I talked about the vacation Peggy and I recently went on. I tried ti highlight all the misfortunes and all the things that went wrong, then I wanted to tell of how we did not get discouraged, even though the vacation was terrible, we still enjoyed it and had a great time, having a bad time. The scripture I used was suggested by Daine Prime; 1 Thessalonians 5:19; "Don't Quench the Spirit."

I think I might have, no I know I had too much of a person story and not enough of God and Jesus. The music was wonderful. The congregation sounded good, the choir was good and thank you Tanya for singing during ther offering - you were good also - always.

The Thankfulness Time had a variety of thankful people and things to be thankful for. I did feel the presense of ther Lord (yesterday), but was didappointed with my message.

Well on Saturday, Corey, Christy and myself took nine youth to the Valley for games and a youth event at Centreville Baptist. We left around 12 noon and drove to Greenwood and played Lazer Tag, pool and other games at Roo's Playhouse in the mall. Left there and drove Centreville, got some ice creal cones and then to the concert. They said it was Contempary Christain music; I would say it was Christian ROCK. Loud, very loud for me. The youth seemed to have a great time, lots of laughs and guy talk in the Corey van, while Christy took the girls and seemed to be much more behaved themselves. The guys on the other hand were not. I, as Pastor, tried to keep them all on the straight and narrow, but Corey was not helpful. You know how easilt he is lead astray.

Well after the concert we drove home arriving after 12:00 midnight. Corey and I have some other things planned with the youth this summer. We will all have a good time.

Got to go now, remember God loves you all very much.

Blessings upon you all;
Pastor Brother Brian

Please come down again and just visit and then Peggy and I, and you and Archie can take a tour on the motorbikes. Love you so much, as well.

AND

Thank you Peggy for standing beside me through all these years and all my crazy ideas and stupid things I have done. I am nothing without you. I love you beyond what words can express.

Thank you my darling daughter, Tanya. You make being a father easy and so fulfilling. I am also thankful for your encouragement and support through all of this. I am glad you are "home" for a while. I do love you so much.

I also thank the Lord, God Almighty, for everything He has done in my life, and for blessing me with everyone I have mentioned.

Blessings to you all!

And Finally!

Hi y’all, yes I know it’s been a while since my last update. That slow, relaxed country life, out here in the sticks, has been very busy.

Over the last few weeks, I have had my graduation, my 47th birthday, my 27th Wedding Anniversary, a week’s vacation, the open-house for the parsonage; and finally, my Induction Service.

And in the mean-time, we have been having the Marriage Enrichment Course every week, planning for a Married Couples Retreat, I have began my visitations, having regular Sunday services; as well as planning something very special for the Sunday night service in August.

So for a quiet, little country church, it sure is busy doing the Lord’s work.

My birthday was quite a day with no less than 4 cakes; one which included pickle-toppings from my great niece, Mahalya.

Then Peggy and I went on a short vacation. We attended a Pastor’s and spouse’s retreat in Yarmouth for 3 days and 2 nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). Left there, “sailed’ across on The Cat to Bar Habour, Maine, drove up through Maine into New Brunswick and then back home to Nova Scotia.

The Father’s Day service was very moving and meaningful. I just lost it when I asked all the father’s to stand and then all those who loved these men to stand – and everyone in the sanctuary stood. It was an amazing sight, a special moment and made me think of my day who has passed-on.

The Induction Service in the afternoon was truly, truly amazing. The community was well represented and people from various churches attended the coming together of a pastor and a church; all lead by God’s wonderful grace and love.

Christy did an absolutely perfect job leading the service. I think she looked very comfortable behind the pulpit and I am very thankful to her for everything that she, Corey, Lauren, Levon and Elizebeth has done for Peggy and I since coming here.

April did a great job explaining how everything came to pass, and how hard the search committee worked to find such a great pastor; so loving, understanding and humble ☺ Thank you April, Craig and Mya for your support and love as well. You made the transition so easy for us. Thanks.

Corey also did a great job in relaying the thoughts of the deacons. He too looked quite comfortable at the pulpit. I also that the deacons for their undying support and guidance to me. I feel this deacon’s board in one of a kind. Thanks so much, Teddy, Larry, Corey and Arthur.

Speaking of Arthur; I think Arthur should record and release the song he sang on Sunday. What a message he brought through that song. Arthur, I consider you a friend, a colleague, someone I can aspire to, and yesterday, you were my father, as you ministered to me through that song. Thank you so much for allowing me to be your friend and your brother in Christ.

The quartet sounded sooo good. To Larry, Arthur, Teddy and Linda, I know I only gave you a few days notice, but I really do appreciate your willingness to this that for me. The song was very encouraging, and everyone listen so intently. The service would not have been complete without all four of you. Thank you so very much.

I am so proud of the job the choir did on “In Christ Alone!” I consider myself so very blessed to have such a choir to minister with me. Any song that I have brought to them, they have been cooperative to learned it, and sang it with such confidence and heart.

Yesterday I waited for the part where they went down low (on that one line), and then bursting forth in glorious Day.

That’s what yesterday was all about. It was not about me (or any minister), it was about God blessing this church, as the New Tusket Baptist Church “bursting forth in glorious Day.” That Day was yesterday, and that Day was God’s Holy Spirit at work among us.

All of you, the congregation of the New Tusket Baptist Church, the Lord is at work here at this church and within the hearts of many, because here, in the power of Christ - we stand.

Blessing upon each and every one of you, and remember, God loves you so very much.

Blessings

Greetings Fellow Pilgrims

Sunday’s service was awesome and God’s presence was felt. The music was quite inspiring. I really enjoy it when Teddy leads us in a mini hymn-sing; and the songs the Helen, Stanley and Diane choose seemed to be just what I needed to hear and went along very well with my message. God was at work.

The Thankfulness Time was very special to me, whereas a couple of people expressed their thankfulness for their new pastor and that pastor living in the community – and being done university. No one is more thankful (for this) than Peggy and I.

Dixon was thankful for the sun and Allison was thankful for the rain. It’s nice to know that whether the weather is good or bad, someone is thankful for it. Peggy and I were thankful for Peggy’s sister (Donna Rand) and her husband (Alvin Rand) coming to visit. Others were also thankful for family and friends.

In my offering introduction, I used the poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.” I then connected that with my poem. It went something like this:

***Tithes and Offerings – Intro***
Elizabeth Barrett Browning, once asked:

“How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- And, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.”

How do I love thee Lord? Let me count the ways.
I love thee enough to serve,
I love thee enough to sing,
I love thee enough to bow,
I love thee enough to repent,
I love thee enough to praise,
I love thee enough to honor,
And, I love thee enough to give, so that others may have.

***
The rest of the service was quite powerful. The sermon was about how some people go missing from our community, our society and our churches without anyone every noticing. I focused on how people feel; lost, alone and unfulfilled. Check out the sermon on the “From the pulpit” link.

This past Sunday night was our first night for our Marriage Enrichment course; 7 couples came. The Ladies Auxiliary (of our church) provided the food for us and we are truly thankful to them. Overall, I think the night went well. It was harder for some and scarier for others; but all finished the evening without any broken bones. Well done all you couples.

In today’s society, marriages are in trouble. It takes hard work to stay married and a lot of couples divorce because they are not willing to work at their marriage. These 7 couples should be praise for their efforts and willingness to find tools that will help them.

Monday (my day off and a holiday), Peggy and I spent our “marriage time” taking drive. We drove to Digby, got coffee and drove out Digby Neck to end, got on the ferry went across to Teverton, then drove across that island, got on that ferry and went to Brier Island and did some exploring. I did not like the ferries, Peggy did – I felt kind of sick on the way back – but got home safe and sound none-the-less. A good day for us.

Blessings on you this day.

Special Times

It’s been a busy few days for me. Over this past weekend I attended my Commissioning Dinner and Service at Acadia Divinity Collage (ADC) and Convocation Exercises; and graduated from Acadia University with my Bachelor of Theology degree. I am so blessed that God lead me to ADC, helped me through and guided me to New Tusket Baptist Church.

I was very pleased and honored as all my brothers and sisters (and spouses), along with my wife (Peggy), my daughter (Tanya), friends and church family from Cambridge and New Tusket came and shared in my joy. Without family and friends our accomplishments seem less.

Thank you to all who helped and aided me along the way. Blessings, upon you.

So, in my absence from church last Sunday, Mr. Jonathan Thompson preached a message on fear. The service was very special in a lot of ways. First, Jonathan was preaching. Then, it was his birthday as well. And finally, it was Mother’s Day. Everyone I talk with says the service was amazing. To read Jonathan’s message, please go to the “From the pulpit” link on this page.

Well done, Jonathan, and thank you.

This Sunday’s message is all about feeling lost, lonely and unfulfilled. Title: MIA. Also, Sunday night is the beginning of our Marriage Enrichment course, here at the church, beginning at 6:00. All are welcome. The only stipulation is that you must be married to attend. So, you still have 2 days to find and marry someone to attend.

The course is designed to help you communicate (talk) better with your spouse, spend some quality time together (date), as you share a meal together (food). All discussions are between you and your spouse and you will not be asked to share anything with the group. This course is for you and your spouse. Please come☺

God loves each and everyone of you and wants nothing but the best for you.

Peace be with you;
Pastor Brian

Response from May 9 question

On May 9, I left you with this verse to think about:
Colossians 3:16; "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom."

Then I asked this question:
Question; What's the difference between the "word of Christ" and the "Word of God?"

And finally someone decided to try and answer the question.
Donna Jean wrote:
"The Word of God = Scripture
The word of Christ = the words Christ spoke while here on earth"

Which is a pretty good guess, but little sister may I direct you to John 1:14.
How does this verse reflect on your answer?

Thought provoting.

Off, Off and Away

Well going to the valley today - got a lot going on in the next few days. Peggy and I are spending the night at Tanya's house; we will be watch survivor and most likely eating Greco Pizza, since Peggy hasn't had any of their pizza since moving to NT in December. Tomorrow night is the Commissioning Dinner (at Wheelock Dining Hall - Acadaia U.) and Service (Wolfville Baptist Church). Then after those festivities, we will drive back to NT, so Peggy can work Saturday. Then get up bright and early Sunday morning and drive back to the Valley for Convocation exercises in the afternoon. Then drive back home and crash.

It has been a very long 3 years and I am so glad to be done. I couldn't have made it with my wife Peggy and my daughter Tanya. God put them in my life for a reason and I am so thankful for them. Love you both, very much.

Last night was Bible study. We have just started looking at Daniel and how in the midst of struggle, he maintains his faith and his intregety towards it. Good discussion last night and a very large group. Choir practice is always fun. With Larry and Teddy in the back row 'hamming' it up, it is always a crack-up. Of course Larry and Teddy would be perfect gentlemen, if it weren't for the ring-leader Arthur Thompson. The music was just wonderful though.

Jonathan Thompson is preaching this Sunday (since I will be elsewhere). Jonathan's sermon is entitled "Fear." His scripture is from Luke 2:39-52. This is where Mary and Joseph take Jesus to the temple for the festival and then head back home - only to find Jesus not with them. So for a few days they search, only to find Him in the temple talking with the 'teachers' of the day. I assume Jonathan will tie Jesus missing and the fear that Mary (His mother) went through: since it is Mother's Day and also Jonathan's birthday.

Well Off, Off and Away. Have a great weekend and may God richly bless the service on Sunday.

Blaze, Spirit, Blaze

Well Spirit and I went to the Valley yesterday. I had to get my glasses replaced (long story), and I had to check on my daughter who is sick and lost one of her cats (Scrat). Well I called 6 times in an hours, went to her new apartment (very cozy) and then to find out she was working - so I missed her. Then I went to my brother Rockey's to try and get him out of his rutt - finally got him talked into a bike drive.

So, at mid afternoon we drove to Coldbrook, stopped in to see our friend George (CarQuest Auto Parts), and to show him our bikes. Left there and drove to Kingston and stopped off at the Honda Motorcycle place and after looking and sitting on a few bikes, we left. I am very glad I bought the bike I did and not one of those. Then drove towards Annapolis Royal to the leather shop - Rockey needs a new coat. Stopped at Tim's in Bridgetown and ventured on. Finally met up with our friend Dave and his wife (on their bile - Kawasaki 1300) coming the other way. Turned around and drove with them back to Pearl's Takeout and had some fish -n-chips; and then I left for home. The head wind was very strong and I had to fight it all the way.

Funny, my bike is a 250 cc and I usually drive the speed limit (or a little over - but safely), but Rockey and Dave with thier 900 cc and 1300cc drive soooo slow. I was leading on the way to Pearl's, and I had to slow down so they could catch up.

A verse for you to think about today: Colossians 3:16; "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom."
Question; What's the difference between the "word of Christ" and the "Word of God?"

Blessings upon you all and remember (as April says, welll I said it first, but she stole it) God loves you so much.

Exhausted

Well here I sit, totally exhaused but the events of the day. Today was Communion Sunday and the message was 'The Art of Being a Sinner." The point was to connect our sins, with God's love and Christ's death. I thibnk I accomplished that, and people walked away knowing that yesterday's sins don't matter to God today, as we have salvation through Christ and a hope for tomorrow. Salvation, forgivens of past sins and life ternal takes only a few simple words of the heart; "Please God forgive me. Please Jesus, come into my heart. Please Christ, be the Lord of my life."

My sister Linda Lou and her husband Duck came to the service this morning, stayed for lunch (she made homemade pizza) and then went to the evening service of music. The evening service was highlighted by the musical talents of the New Tusket Baptist Church Quarette and the Haveloch Trio. Both groups sang the praises of Christ. We sang 4 congregational hymns; and the finale, was a jam session with both groups. Oh, yeh, I gave a short message on Committment to Christ. All-in-all, a very exciting night of music and praise.

Some days I have doubts, as Satan finds that crack to get inside your head. But then there are days like today, when I feel that God has sent me to New Tusket, He has given me a job to do and the ability to do it and He has affirmed today. Praise God from whom all blessing flow.

Please read the messages from today, on the "From the pulpit" link.

Blessings all you children of God.

Bike Name

Well I have finally decided on a name for my motorcycle; I can't keep calling her Vroom, Vroom - so from now on my bike's name is "Spirit." On of my fav. praise songs is "Shine, Jesus, Shine" and the one line in that song that I draw the name of my bike from is "Blaze, Spirit, Blaze."

Spirit and I took a drive this afternoon; lookinh for Hebron Baptist Church. Peggy and I will be attending a pastor's and spouses retreat there, in June. So I found it, very nice church, quite a new building. Then I took the old road, along the French shore and then cut 'cross county through Consessions, then back on the 340 to home. 2.5 hours and 145 kms later, we are home. Now, she will sleep until Saturday, when I will travel with mu brother, Rockey and the rest of his biker-buddies to Truro for a "Bike Blessing."

Right now, I will rest until 6:45, then off to Bible Study. We are just starting Daniel and the topic is Compromise (within our faith). Should be quite interesting.

This Sunday is Communion and the message is called; "The Art of Being a Sinner." I hope to connect our sins, with God’s love, and Jesus’ death. A good topic to invite a friend to came and hear. I encourage you to do so, ask someone you know/or don't know, someone you care about, to come hear this message. Then, Sunday night we will have a muscial service, at 6:30. Come one, come all.

Also if you or someone you know would be interested in the Marriage Enrichment course, please contact me to sign-up. The course is all about communication and spending time with your spouse - good quality time. The course is laid out for 7 sessions, 7 Sunday nights, with you and your spouse discussion your marriage and how you can stay marriage. There will be NO GROUP DISCUSSION - just you and your spouse. Please come, I highly recommend it and I think you would enjoy it. Think about it:)

Finally, updated!

Sorry Guys that I haven’t updated my blog lately; I just been so busy.

This past week (Monday) I emailed off my final paper to the Div. school. Now, I wait to see if all my hard work will pay off and I will graduate??? Tuesday I went to the valley and did my errands and took a bike-ride with my brother Rockey (that was cool).

Wednesday I prepared for Bible study that night. I am very encouraged and happy to see so many come out to a mid-week program (17). We were talking about Jeremiah and how he got mad at God for what he was going through as a prophet. In short, God told him, this ain’t nothing, wait until it really gets hard; and when it does get as though you can’t make it through, I will be there – turn to me for help. We had lots of discussion about our life-situations and how we get down and get depressed about such things.

We looked at 1 Corinthians 4:9-13, where the Apostle Paul tells the people of the little church at Corinth, about his struggles as one of God’s servants. He tells them in no uncertain terms that hardships are part and parcel of that call upon your life.

All of us Christians will face suffering because we call Christ our savior, and the un-believers will at times, seem to thrive (Jeremiah 12:1c); “Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?”

The Lord answers in Jeremiah 15:19; “Return to me, I will restore you and you can continue to serve me…I will keep you safe from those wicked men.”

For the un-believers, they are receive their rewards (from the Devil) here on earth. For we, Christians, we will receive our rewards (from God) in Heaven – eternal life.

We ended that section of the Bible study with God’s promise from 1 Peter 5:6-11;

“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and in good time he will honor you. Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about what happens to you.

Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring loin, look for some victim to devour. Take a firm stand against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters, all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.

In His kindness God called you to His eternal glory by means of Jesus Christ. After you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. All power is His forever and ever. Amen.”

God knows the suffering we experience and has plans to prosper us – if we have faith.

Thursday I worked on my sermon – True Peace.

Thursday, Peggy and I went to HFX to buy me a new suit for graduation. Sears had a in-store sale on suits (half price), so we went. Only to find out I am an odd size in a suit (46 short)??? What’s up with that? We though we had one, a blue pin-stripe and then we the sales-girl found (outback) a grey pin-stripe, which looked and felt good on me. So we picked out a bright yellow shirt and matching tie and as we were standing at the cash, Peggy noticed a ‘pick’ on the back of the jacket. So, did get that one. The salesgirl called around to a few other stores and finally (after about 45 minutes) she found one on NB somewhere. She said she could have it shipped right from the store to our house – via snail-mail. OK, we said and went to pay for the suit and shipping, only to be told we could only do through our Sears Card. What? Cash was no good, we could not pay cash and have it shipped. We thanked the girl for her time, and left. She did all she could do, but it was Sears rules that prevented us from buying that suit.

Left there, walking through the mall until we came to Tip Top Tailors. Went in – there was a sale on 3-piece suits with a shirt and tie for $199.00. Wow, what a deal! But, alas, it was for not. No colors that ‘suited’ us were on sale. So, the sales guy showed us a few other suits (299, 259, 349). At this point my lovely wife was getting tired and frustrated, and the guy sensed we were ready to walk off, and miraculously, he brought out a suit, a nice charcoal grey, fit nice and looked good – for $149.00. So, with the shirt and tie (from Sears) and the suit from Tip Top Tailors, I will be looking good for graduation.

Peggy has a really nice dress she bought from Christy, so it’s only Tanya who will need to get ‘dressed up.’

Friday, Tanya and I went to the movies in Yarmouth. We had a really nice father-daughter time, talking and enjoying each other’s company (Peggy was working).

Saturday, I went with Diana M. and Fred B to the spring meeting of the Annapolis – Digby United Baptist Association, at Middleton Baptist Church. Registration and Meet-n-Greet was at 2:00. The business meeting was at 3 until 4 or so. Then, we broke into small groups and talked about how the Holy Spirit was alive and at work in our churches and how and why fellowship is so important. Supper was roast-beef, with all the trimmings. For dessert; coconut cream and lemon pie. I do not like either, so I had another helping of supper. The day ended with a nice worship and praise service. Got home at 9:15 or so.

Sunday’s service was quite nice. I spoke on Peace; peace with God, peace with each other, and peace within ourselves. Everybody seem attentive, and there was such a ‘calm’ within the sanctuary. That is the end-result of having Peace, is that sense of Calm.

The music was truly amazing, inspiring and heart-warming. Arthur T. sang “Let There Be Peace” and the congregation joined him in on the last two verses. The choir sang “It Is Well With My Soul.” Those two songs seem to set the tone for the whole service, as stress and agitation was replaced by the Spirit of God.

April M. led us in 2 worship songs. I was so proud as my wife and daughter helped out with the actions to the first song – “Shine, Jesus, Shine!” Peggy and Tanya have been the rock I have come to lean on during my ‘change of life.’ They have been there for me, encouraged me, and directed me through many times of struggles and brought so much happiness and joy to my spiritual awakening. I love them so much and could not have gone this far in my ministry with out them and my Lord. Thank you Peggy and Tanya – I love you both and will be forever grateful.

That song (“Shine, Jesus, Shine!”) is like a theme song for me. I love the line “Blaze, Spirit, Blaze.” It reminds me and brings to mind, my own spirituality and tells ALL that God’s Holy Spirit is like a blazing fire for ALL to see and for ALL to feel the heat upon your face.

The second song April led us in was “As I Worship.” It is amazing how God works and connects what we are doing with what other people are doing; this was the case with this song. When the music is selected for Sunday, I usually just tell Linda and the choir what my topic will be and together we choose hymns that follow that theme. As wit April, we never discuss what she will choose, she simply goes with what she feels is appropriate. This week she chose “As I Worship,” and there was a line in that song which was; “True Peace.” My sermon yesterday was based upon a short devotional I presented at the Berwick Manor (a senior citizens home), 2 years ago. The name of that devotional was “True Peace.” God connected that devotional, April’s song choice and my sermon, to create such a moving and calming service – “True Peace.”

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Sunday night, a few of us from New Tusket church went to the Ashmore Church for a evening of gospel music featuring Alf Dalton and Valley Ramblers, with the Ashmore Men’s Choir. The music was so good. There are so many people with such great musical gifts and I am so thankful that they are using these gifts to glorify and honor our Lord.

After the concert, we went to Sanky and Diana’s house for chocolate pie. Chocolate pie is the only kind of pie I will eat. Actually, I will eat anything chocolate. We had some great conversation with Sanky and Diana and Gladys and Genos.

This week my plans are to put together Peggy’s new outside screen-house and BBQ. Also, there is a motorcycle blessing in Truro on Saturday I would like to attend with my brother Rockey and a few of his bike buddies from Kentville.

Of course Wednesday night Bible study and prayer meeting – and choir practice, then Communion Service on Sunday. This week’s sermon is entitled; “The Art of Being a Sinner.” If you ever had a reason to invite someone to church, this Sunday would be a great opportunity, as I try to bridge our sins with God’s love and Jesus’ death.

Also, this week, Peggy and I will help Tanya move into her new apartment. Please pray that Tanya will find happiness and that God will keep loneliness from her.

Blessings upon you all and remember that God loves each and every one of you – so very much. He wants you to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, accept salvation and live eternally with Him.

Pastor Brother Brian.

God is Great!

I had an absolutely great day today. I got up early and took off to the valley on my Vroom, Vroom. Did some errands: bought my laptop for a $1.00 - so it's mine now, 3 other errands, had coffee with my independant daughter, spents some time with my big brother (Rockey), then when it was time to head for home, Rockeys followed me on his bike to Bridgetown - we had some supper - and he headed one way and I headed the other way. It was such a connection to take a bike drive with my brother - and he even let me lead; drove home - very cold, need a pair of chaps; stopped of to see the love of my life (Peggy) at her work and came home.

As of 8:50 pm tonightm Vroom, Vroom has 512 kms on her.

God grants to me a great day to ride, a great coffee time with my daughter and a great connection with my bro.

Thank you God for all these things.

Yesterday's Service

The service (yesterday) was amazing! The music was very cool; the choir did a reall nice job singing thier special and leading us through the rest of the hymns. The song that April did (unaccompanied) was awesome - I closed my eyes and just listened. Tanys and Peggy help me out during the Children's time, as we sang The Pipaya Song. the kids really seemed to enjoy it alot. The sermon was good too - a hard and somewhat confusing message on the Hoyl Spirit and the Trinity.

Lots of birthday yesterday. My sister Linda was 48 yesterday; and no matter how old I get, my sister Linda will always be 1 day, 1 month and 1 year older than me. He and Duck and my nephew Brent (and Tanya) came over after church and we had a celbration lunch in honor of her birthday. Went to the valley in the Afternoon to Barb Durling's Indiction Service at Canaan Church. Then home - busy, busy day.

Then this morning, I went and did my test today and received my Motorcycle licence: wow!

Well off to do some more work.

Blessings upon you all - remember, God loves you, very, very much.

Busy

Well, this week I've been busy being down. Funny how Satan knows just when your at your Mountian Top Experience, and tries so hard to bring you crashing down. He has done that to me this week.

I looked out at the congregation on Sunday and saw joy on the faces of all; and I was so moved and happy and excited about the possibilities that God has granted to this Church. But just as I reached that Mountain Top, Satan brought me to below sea-level in an instant. So for a few days I felt sorry for myself, had some self-doubts, and other self-defeating thoughts.

Last night Rev. Jack cater called me out of the blue. He had heard about my new bike and we kept missing each other on the phone, but last night God made it so we could connect. We chatted for over an hour and I felt so different after that phone call. God knew I needed a little help getting back on track, and he sent Jack Carter - via the phone.

God uses anybody and anything to spread the Gospel and to "connect" with His children. This blog had been such a blessing to me. I write something and someone adds to it and before you know it - someone is blessed by someone else's words. Keep up all those great comments you 'guys,' and I will keep doing my part.

Blessings upon you all.

Change

Change is sometimes needed, for often, we get stagnet and we do not grow.

When you look at a small child and everyday they grow a little bit more, and a little bit more - untill all of a sudden they are 21 years old. They have changed and grew, tried and failed, loved and lost, gained and won, leaped and jumped and changed and grew.

Don't ever fear change, for it is the only way we grow as people.

Thank you all so much for expressing your thoughts and support of each other. Diana, you are absolutely right - this blog was meant to be and serves a wonderful purpose.

Blessings, I hope you like the new layout, and please visit the blog of the Incomparable Christy.

God loves you all, just as you are, as you have been, and as you will be.

Peanuts

You know the tag line from the movies 'Forest Gump' - "Life is like a box of chocolates?"
Well church-life is like peanuts.
This my introduction for the offering this morning in church:

" I want to talk about peanuts.
Well, this morning, I found this bag of peanuts in my cupboard, and I wanted to share these peanuts with all of you. I want each person to get a good-sized, hand full of peanuts.

But, I have a problem, there are only 183 peanuts in this bag; I don’t have enough to go ‘round – I don’t have enough for everyone to get a good-sized, hand full of peanuts. What should I do?

Maybe, since everyone won’t get some, I should just keep them to myself. But, as I looked in the cupboard, I found this bag of peanuts.

Then, Peggy found this jar of peanuts,
Tanya found this bag,
I found this bag in my briefcase,
Then, when I got here, someone gave me this bag,
Someone gave me this bag,
And, someone gave me this bag.

And now, as I look at this big bowl, filled with all the peanuts people gave, I know I have enough to go ‘round.

Our offerings, our life, are much the same. Sometimes, what we give seems like peanuts – such a small, unimportant amount. But, if we combine our peanuts, with someone else’s peanuts, then there is always enough to go ‘round.

I encourage all of you, no matter how insignificant you think what you give is, combined with the giving of others, we all make a great difference in this world, and in the lives of others.

Blessings upon you all; God loves you too.

Encouragement From Far Away

Sometimes it takes someone else to make something perfectly clear to us. This a cooment I received from Christina Main, who spent some time at New Tusket Baptist Church; and will be forever in our thoughts, in our hearts and on our minds.

(Looking for Angels in Alberta)
Quote: "I have been back in Edmonton 4 days and was wondering if God lived in Nova Scotia. Coming back to a life that you lived without God is harder than I thought. The friends and the partner you have built your life with for the past 7 years don't understand what is wrong with you. Your choice in music, movies, language you use, whether to go to Starbucks instead of the pub makes them question the 'brainwashing' you recieved in the east. It is lonely.

Then you realize that you have not opened your bible, you have not written in your prayer book, you have not had Christian fellowship, you have not been vocal about the change Jesus put in your heart.

As I cried myself to sleep again last night I ask God where he was? Why didn't he come with me?

I woke up this morning and went online and just happened to check this blog. With many tears I read about Tanya, her struggles, and as my heart opened and I read your words back to her, my tears did not stop. But they changed to tears of joy and fellowship. Although we are many kilometres awayfrom each other, God is with us all. I know my road will not be easy, but it gives me comfort to know that we are in this togather. God answers in the most special and subtle ways.

I am going to the 'big' church tommorow. It is a Babtist church they built just down the road. www.meadowlandsbabtist.com/. It is good site. I am a little nervous but my daughter and her friend are coming with me. Praise God.

Well I miss you all and no church will ever mean more to me then New Tusket. Tanya you are in my heart and prayers as we surge forward into our new lifes. Thank you Pastor Bryan for your wonderful words. Christina Main" End Quote

Prayer Concern

Hi everyone,
Peggy and I went to see our daughter Tanya yesterday, in the valley. Had supper together and talked. Tanya really needs your prayers. God knows what the need is - just ask God to grant that need to her. This is so important!

Here is some advice (for you Tanya and everyone else); a very smart Christian role model gave me a while back (edited):

"I know it's hard to act like a Christian a lot of the time; always saying and doing the right thing, and I know that this time it seems bad. Keep in mind though, Jesus loves you, and God loves you... everyone loves you... and that person that’s mad at you or your mad at, loves you too; there are always hidden reasons for our anger. Some people seem to have it all, but lack the most important thing, love. Love for others and love for themselves.

My child, you really are blessed to have all the love in the world. Anyone I meet that knows you tells me your such a wonderful person. And it's true. Don't give up on your dream. You've made an impact in other's lives already, you are right now, and you will in the future.

Remember, in the times that you feel that you can't do it anymore. You have so many commitments upon your plate; please, remember, I love you, God loves you, and you love you."

Smart words.

Also, some thoughts on knowing what to do:

"It’s not always easy to know which path to follow, which decision to make, or what to do. Life is a series of new horizons, new hopes, new days, and changes that come to you. And we all need some help with these things from time to time.
Remember these things: Dream it. Do it. And discover how special you are. Be positive, for your attitude will affect
the outcome of many things.

Ask for help when you need it; seek the wisdom the world holds and hold on to it. Make some progress every single day.
Begin. Believe. And become.

Give yourself all the credit you’re due; don't short change your qualities, your abilities, or any of the things that are so unique about you.

Remember how precious life can be. Imagine. Invest the time it takes to reach out for your dreams; it will bring you happiness that no money on earth can buy. Don't be afraid; no mountain is too big to climb
if you do it at your own pace.

What’s the best thing to do? That’s simple:
Do Your Best; and everything else will fall into place.
Be true to you!"
I hope this is helpful, Blessings upon you all.
Remember, God loves you so very much, and is only a prayer away.

It Is Finished

Well, ladies, that essay you were worried about has been finished and email off to Dr. Prof. Killacky. Now can I drive my bike? No wait, I got another one to do - only 2500 words - piece of cake since I have until April 23 to complete. I better get back to work.

See ya.
Blessings

Chastised

Well, I've just been reprimanded by my little sister and April, about driving my bike instead of working on my essay. Seem these two like to work as a team. Ya' know, I haven't been scolded or spanked in a long, long time. Paper is coming fine, I will have it done by Wednesday and emailed off.

That bike keeps calling my name and calling my name - so to shut it up, I take a little drive down to the end of the driveway and back and then back down and back.

Well, off to do more work, I was up early this morning (working on my paper) and now back to it.

Great Day

Today was great. Tanya helped me get Peggy's car to the doctor and then we had lunch and talked, and drove home and talked, and I fell asleep on the sofa. Peggy came home before I had a chance to make supper (seem that sofa works well).

I'm not sure of what to call my bike, many suggestions, but I am still taking ideas. Oh, by the way, she (yes, my bike is a she) she has 32 kms on her now. Do you know how many trips up and down the driceway that is?

Peggy and I had a great Easter with our daughter. We were very worried when we woke up Sunday morning at 5am and she wasn't here yet. She left at 1am in the middle of the storm. But I prayed hard and God delevered her safe and sound to us. Thank you Lord.

I am currently at 1646 words of my 5000 word essay due last Thursday. I'm working on it and hope to email it to the prof. by Wednesday.

Blessings one and all, and remember God loves you - so very much.

Happy Easter

Today, Christ rose from the grave to fulfill the Prophecies of long ago. The Resurrection is what our faith is based on. Christ died to reconcile we sinners back to a right relationship with God, and God resurrected Jesus to prove there is life after death, through Christ.

The service today was packed (70+). We had a great Easter breakfast and the service after. Lots of people came out to share a meal with one another, and then stayed for our mini-musical Easter celabration and praise service. Please check out "From The Pulpit."

Well was leaving to go to church this morning and got my wife's car stuck (in a snow-bank) in the driveway. So then we took my car over. Then after church we were invited to Craig, April and Mya's house for an Easter dinner with a whole punch of people - mostly Allens and Mullens. Well, on the way, the idler for the fanbelt flew off the car, as did the fanbelt. Peggy will not let me drive her car ever again.

Learned quite alot at that dinner about the fine art of mashed potatoes and gravy consumption. One person (Craig) who will remain nameless, likes to press down all his potatoes, leaving ridges so the gravy sinks into the pototoes. Another person (April) who will remain nameless likes to construct 'wall' all the way around the edge of her pototoes, so the gravy doesn't get away. And another person (Ben) who will remain nameless, presses his pototoes down in a flatten state, making the ridges with his fork (like Craig) and then stabs the pototoes (like in the shower scene from the movie Psycho). He says this way the gravy 'seeps' into the pototoes.

Ya' never know where you will learn certain things. Next Sunday, I hoping to explore the issue of whether banannas should be kept in the fridge or not. Some say it speeds up the ripening process, whereas I feel it keeps them firm and at the right temperature for making ice-cream sundaes.

Happy Easter and remember God loves you all very much.

Finished

Well, I got home from Wolfville at 12:30 this morning, after finishing my class of the term, of the year and the last class of my degree. It has been 3 years of many struggles, laughs, tears, and amazements, as it took 3 people to carry me through; my daughter, Tanya, my wife, Peggy, and my Lord and savior. Thank you all so very much. Many other thank-you's coming later.

God blessed me with the opportunity to chat (face-to-face) with my daughtger last night - just before I headed for home. Even though the times was short, the heart-connection was amazing. Even as I write about it, tears come to my eyes. Then to top if off, she posted some great comments on her blog >http://nspreacherkid.blogspot.com/< Seems like my little girl is grwoing up and leaving her parents (especially her father) behind.

Today, Jesus gave His life so we could live (through Him), forever. This is the saddest day in Christian history, but 'on the third day, He rose victorous from death.' Easter and the Resurrection is what our entire religion and faith is based on. If you haven't been to church for a while, do yourself a big favor and go this Sunday. The Easter story will amaze you. Jesus died so we would not have too. "Saved from agony by agony."

Another pre-Easter service at Ashmore Baptist Church - muscial night, 7pm. Come be inspired by Christ's passion.

God loves each and every one of you and only wants the very best for you. Come, come and meet the Lord.

Musical Gifts

Ya'know, I am so amazed at people who can sing or play a muscial instrument. New Tusket Baptist Church has an abundance of talent, with so many sharing their gifts. I thank my little sister who came all the way from Shearwater to sing at the service for me. Thank you so much, the song was wonderful.

Also and certainly not least, I want to thank my one and only daughter for singing as well, last night. Donna Jean and Tanya did a duet and it was beautiful. Tanya, you have sung or performed many times for me over the past 3 years or so. I appreciate your commitment and eagerness to help your father out and your support over this time has been so valuable to me, as I grow and mature as a pastor. I love you and could not have done it without you. Thank you so much.

I want to publicly thank my dear wife, Peggy for all her support and guidance in my journey as well. She has encouraged me, shook her at me, smiled and nodded and even pointed her finger at me and said ‘no.’ Peggy, you are one in 10 million and I love you so much. I could not repay all you have done for me. I also want to thank you for your help in me getting my new motorcycle. That I could not have gotten without your help. I humbly thank you.

Well off to Acadia for my last 2 classes of this term, of this year and of my degree. Graduation is coming and I am soooo excited to be done.

Saved from Agony by Agony

Tonight at Ashmore was amazing. The message was good and the music was awesome. Thank you Christy Mullen for your gift of music and that heart wrenching song “Via Dolorosa” (“The Way of Suffering”). Then my daughter, Tanya and my sister, Donna Jean also sang; “You Were There.”

An excerpt from my sermon tonight; "Jesus went into the Garden of Gethsemane in an agony, He went in confused and bewildered, He went uncertain and afraid; But, He came out, strengthened and supported, He came out, at ease, with what must be done, He came out, with the victory won and with peace in His soul – for He had talked with God and God reaffirmed Him."

Please check out the rest of the pre-Easter services at Ashmore with Pastor Fred.

Oh my the way, if you haven't figured it out, I bought a new motorcycle and it arrived today - so calll me Pastor Vroom, Vroom. God is good and gave me a new toy. Thank you.

Blessings upon you all, with His love.
Pastor Vroom, Vroom.

Tonight's Service

Tonight at Ashmore Baptist Church (7pm) I will be bring the message for the first of 4 pre-Easter services at Ashmore. The message tonight is called; "Thy Will Be Done." It's all about Jesus' agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, and also the agony we Christians face each year - for we know that we are "saved from agony by agony."

Christy Mullen and Tanya Herx will share their gifts of music and I look forward to hearing that.

So, come to the service tonight, and start the passion week with us.

PS 3:00pm, vroom, vroom

And remember, God loves you all very much; and this week proves it, as He sent His son as an atonement for our sins.

Blessings upon you all

Hi Everyone,
Woke up to a phone call early this morning, to learn that we had lost an important and well-loved member of the congragation.

This coming week will be filled with sorrow as we morn, it will also be filled with agony as we follow the events of Jesus' last week on earth, and also filled with Joy, as Easter Approaches and Christ our Lord and savior is resurrected back to life and we live forever because of Him.

Sunny Sunday

Well, Deal or No Deal was a huge hit and a blast. Over 50 people came, looking for a chance to win the big money. But in the end only four were chosen. Linda M. came in last with zero dollars, Sheila T. second to last with $450.00, Bernice B. $144,000 and Diane P. winning the big prize with $224,000.

We started at a little past 7 and end the evening at 10:15; we raised over $300.00 for the youth for their programs. Thanks so much for all who help make the evening a great success; especially Christy and Corey. Pictures to follow.

The service today was nice. It had some wonderful moments and the sermon wasn’t half bad. Oh, please check out the link below for today’s sermon online. Verna and Alvin sang a great hymn and I was most impressed. The thankfulness time was quite moving as someone new to our church expressed her thankfulness for how the church has accepted her and her family. Also, a long time member expressed her thanks for being back in church, after the winter weather had kept her home.

The church was full with lots of smiling faces today; that’s all God wants from us, our love and He wants to see us smiling and happy (in church).

Thanks to all who make New Tusket United Baptist Church a place where people are happy and smiling. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

God loves you all very much.
Blessings upon you all;

Deal or No Deal

Hi Kids,
Well tonight is Deal or NO Deal - New Tusket, at 7 pm at the church hall. All are welcome and it will be a lot of fun - with some people winning some great and fabulous prizes. The prizes were kindly donated by Atlantic SuperStore in Digby, Sissiboo Home Hardware, and private contributors.

The event is a fundraiser for our church youth and a freewill offering will be taken. Please come and support our youth, the church of tomorrow.

Seems there is lots of activities on the blog this week; keep it coming.

Tomorrow’s sermon is entitled “Hidden Cracks” and focuses on the prophet Isaiah trying to convince the nation of Judah to turn back to God for help, safety and security (Deal or No Deal?). I will post that sermon in the afternoon. Just go to “From the Pulpit of New Tusket” to read it.

Also, you will see instructions on how to comment or ask a question, and even suggest topics or scriptures for future messages. I encourage you to participate.

Well, see you all tonight and then tomorrow morning. Remember, God loves you all very much.

Blessings upon you all.

Teddy Bear

Well I guess I will defend myself now!!!
I am not a sisy or a whimp. Did anyone stop to think that maybe the pastor 'should' show emotions and maybe I putting it all on. So maybe I a teddy bear or maybe I have you all fooled.

Think about that!

Question

Do you think that the fine people of New Tusket would accept a bald, bike riding pastor???
Just thinking, just a question for future reference.

Blessings. Remeber, God loves you all very much: even bikers;

Sold: happiness & joy

I want to start by telling you all of just how proud I was of my brother today. Rockey has not had an easy life and Satan has visited his house more than once. I have never “preached” to him and have never brought up Christ “accidentally.” I have prayed for him and will continue to pray for all my sisters and brother. If Rockey ever wants more information on God, I will answer his questions, but I will never "pressure" him.

Anyway, life for him, at times, is rough. Well, this past week Rockey was talking about buying a new motorcycle. He talked about it and I knew he wanted it, he was OKed for the money, but was hesitant.

Today he asked me again; “What if I get into financial problems and can’t make the payments?” I told him the worst thing that could happen is that they might come and take the bike back. Then I asked him to take me out and show me the bike. So, we went.

The bike is beautiful! It’s a Kawasaki, Vulcan Classic Cruiser 900 LT; two-tone; silver and red, saddle bags, windshield, sissy-bar, and street pipes. As we talked about the bike and he showed me the many accessories, I could see how much joy the thought of buying a new bike brought him.

The more we talked, the more he thought about it. Finally, Rockey made a decision about something that would and will bring that joy home with him. Before we left, there was a tag hanging on that bike that read; “Sold: Rockey Reid.”

Rockey made a decision to do something in his life that would bring him happiness. I was, and, am so proud of my big brother.

That’s all God wants us to be, is happy. Sometimes other people will do things that bring happiness and joy to us, other times we do something that brings happiness and joy into someone else’s life, and every once in a while, we do something that brings, into our lives, our own happiness and joy.

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow.”

Blessings and God (even) loves bikers.

Make Up

Hi Everyone,
Well, the first order of business in Church today was to explain the "April" thing , and assure everyone that I (indeed) asked April to interupt my story last week; and to forgive her. April is really a sweet, well-mannered girl and would never do anything like that (unless asked to do so). I apoligize to April for making her look bad in front of her church family.

Today's sermon was about being so far away from God, that we might think we can never get back. Interesting right? Well if you look on the right hand side of this page and scroll down you will see a link there entitled: From The Pulpit of New Tusket. Starting today and every week, I will post my sermon for that week, for all to read and think about. And if you have further questions or comments please send them in.

Thanks to my little sister for helping me set this up.

Well, off to continue that 5000 word essay. Remember that God really does love you very much.

Blessings upon you all

LOL

Well this week was long and busy. And even though I was tired and rushed all week, I seem to have a smile upon my face all week – and I will tell you why.

At Church, I have been trying to tell this one story for about a month or so. The first Sunday I wanted to tell it was Communion Sunday, so I felt the story was inappropriate for that service. The next Sunday, I forgot about it. The next Sunday, I promised to tell the story next week. Well, when next week came, the service was running a little long, so I explained the situation to the people and, again, promised to tell it next week. I told them that it was a really good story and well worth the wait.

Well the next Sunday, was last Sunday; and I really had no intention of tell the story; so I got one of the members of the congregation to assist me. I told her that I was going to start the story and at a certain spot, she should interrupt me saying she didn’t want to hear that silly story and the service was long enough and that I should go directly to the message.

That’s exactly what happened, and the look on people’s faces was priceless. There were looks of shock – that she would interrupt the preacher. There were looks of discuss – whereas they would not get to hear the story after-all. There were looks of confusion as people turn around and stared right at her. Some were surprised, some were not amused and some were wondering what in the world she was doing. All-in-all, it was the funniest thing I have ever send (in church), since Greg White drove his motor-scooter, down the centre isle at Kentville Baptist Church, dressed in a clown outfit.

And, even though I was busy and tired this week, I laughed many times (thinking about that) at April’s expense. So, thank you April – I will make sure everybody knows that I asked you to do that. I hoping they won’t excommunicate you from the church because of it.

Well, I preached at Chapel, at Acadia Divinity College on Friday morning – no pressure. I had the Principal/President of the College (McDonald), the Academic Dean (Killacky) and two scholars of Theology (Wilson & Killacky), professor of Practical Theology and Preaching (Moriah) and a Distinguished Professor of Christian Theology (Brackney) in attendance; as well fellow students and a few stray pastors…A good group of about 20.

I preached on Romans 5:1-5; talking about faith, struggles and ice cream. In my sermon (Living On The Edge) I talked about how sins are an obstacle to having a right relationship with God, but that barriers is quickly removed through confession and repentance. Sin does not keep us from God’s love, failure to repent does.

I was careful not to Exegesis (analyze) any scriptures, I simply delivered a topical sermon and a personal story intertwined. Everyone seemed to enjoy the sermon – not sure if they actually learned anything (except that I like chocolate ice cream – lot). It was a great experience to stand where many holy men and women have stood. I felt honored to share a message in a place that is alive with history and alive with the Holy Spirit.

Tomorrow’s message is entitled; “Far From Home.” It is based upon a prayer request from Corey. He asked that we prayer for all those who are so far away from God, that they think they can’t get back. I want to assure and re-assure all of you that God is never far away and always willing to answer your cry for help. He will accept all those who confess and repent back into His flock. So, no matter how far you have wandered from home, God is as close as your knees.

Well, good day mates.
Blessings upon you; and remember, God loves you all, very much.

Accepted :)

Hi Y'all,
First, I want to let you all know that I have been accepted as a Candidate for Ordination, by the Board of Ministerial Standards and Education; of the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches. I received the offical letter yesterday in the mail. Now, the real work begins, as I have to complete a year of intership; and work with a Supervisor / Mentor on certain things the Board feels are important. Also, the church I serve are involved in the Ordination process.

In this next year, I will prepare my Statement of Faith; which is what I believe in and what I feel being a pastor and a Christian is all about. Then, after that year, I will appear in front of the Examining Council and "defend" my Statement of Faith. Seems so complicated and detailed, doesn't it? Years ago, it was God who called you and approved of you; not "man."

Second, and most important, I thank God for His continued support, guidance and love.

The weather is getting better, and I look forward to spring and wandering in the wilderness; where I feel most closest to God.

This Saturday night (March 15, 5:00 pm) is our Annual Rappie Pie and Baked Bean supper. adults $7.00, kids 5-12, $3.00, and under 5, free. So come and enjoy some good food and fellowship.

And then next Saturday night (March 24) is our "Deal or No Deal - New Tusket" at the church hall at 7 pm. Come and watch our contestants play for 'big money' and prizes. It's gonna be soooo much fun. Come one, come all.

Everyone is invited to our weekly Bible Study and Prayer Meeting; Friday nights at 7:30 pm - at the church hall. It's (also) fun, informative and though-provoking. It's an enjoyable time, come on out.

Well, off to the valley Wednesday morning for classes. I just started my next big paper (5000 words) on the Second Coming of Christ, the parousia, Christ's resurrection and the Final Judgement. Just some light reading. Please pray for me as i try to separate these issues and write about how they connect.

Also, this Firday I will preach at Chapel, at Acadia Divinity College; in front of all those professors and students. No pressure at all - but I asked to preach, so now I must take what comes - good or bad comments.

Well, takecare and remember; God loves you very much.

Blessing upon you,
Pastor Brother Brian

PS: Thanks Tanya
